HRITHIK ROSHAN GIVES THE FIRST CLAP FOR VIKRAM PHADNIS' SECOND MARATHI OUTING


All it takes to fix things is a warm smile, right? But we don't smile that often. Perhaps that's why director Vikram Phadnis is urging us to. After the success of his debut Marathi film Hrudayantar, Vikram is back with Smile Please, the shooting of which began with a clap from none other than Hrithik Roshan.

While details about the project are awaited, the film will see Vikram teaming up with Mukta Barve again. Smile Please will also feature actors Prasad Oak, Lalit Prabhakar, Aditi Govitrikar and Trupti Khamkar. At the film's muhurat, all the actors presented a heartwarming scene from the film for those in attendance.

Speaking on the occasion, Hrithik said, "I had played a small role in Vikram's Hrudayantar. I know him as a genuine person and a great director. I am sure Smile Please will leave a smile on the viewers faces. My best wishes to the team." On his part, Vikram added, "This film's subject is close to my heart. I feel the presence of my mother in the story. When I thought of making this film, the people close to me helped a lot and are still helping me. I take this opportunity to thank them whole heartedly. I hope Smile Please makes the audience feel good.". The name of the film clearly suggests that it will about looking positively at life and living it to the fullest. On the muhurat of the film, Ameesha Patel, Zareen Khan, Ronit Roy, Kiara Advani, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda, Manish Paul and many Bollywood and Marathi celebs made their presence felt and showered their best wishes on the team. It is given that like Hrudayantar, Smile Please will be a slice of life cinema to the viewers, whilst keeping the entertainment factor high.
